Gas

Fructose and soluble fiber found in bananas are the two factors that trigger gas in your gut. When consuming bananas in large amounts daily, the colon has to work much harder to digest the fibers, so gas is generated.

Same with soluble fiber, fructose will also be difficult to digest by the body. The effect of eating bananas excessively every day is bad for our overall health.

Those who have a detailed medical history, such as kidney problems, high blood sugar, or allergies, should consult a doctor about whether it’s okay to eat bananas every day.

Respiratory Problems

Another problem with bananas in excess is inflammation. They can narrow the airways and cause respiratory problems. This means severe difficulties in breathing or swallowing.

Disorder of breathing or respiration is also the effect of eating bananas excessively daily. These types of disorders are usually more likely to be experienced by people who suffer from ragweed allergies.

If you’re among them, be aware of this when symptoms such as shortness of breath and difficulty in swallowing begin to occur.

  1. I wonder if in moderation of 1/2 banana a day is a problem. The banana is rich in nutrients and certainly has been a staple for most homo species for centuries.
