Tooth Decay

High starch levels can cause severe tooth decay if you ignore dental hygiene. According to some studies, chocolate, for example, can be even more harmful to oral health than licorice and gum.

The starches dissolve slowly in your mouth, while sugars dissolve quickly. So when you consume food like bananas, their particles stay between your teeth for nearly two hours, thereby accumulating more bacteria and causing decay.

Hormone Imbalance

Eating too many bananas a day might also affect your hormone levels. A substance called Xenobiotic in this fruit might trigger the excessive production of hormones in your body.

Androgen Hormone in males and Estrogen in females is the hormone that gets affected the most if the Xenobiotic amount in the body is too high.

This condition will result in an irregular period cycle, getting tired quickly, and extreme exhaustion.

  1. I wonder if in moderation of 1/2 banana a day is a problem. The banana is rich in nutrients and certainly has been a staple for most homo species for centuries.
