A 2019 study found that women who used chasteberry as a supplement experienced relief from menopausal symptoms, with hot flashes being among them.

Another study also found benefits from applying a chasteberry/essential oil cream. Impressively, 33% of women cited significant improvements in hot flashes and night sweats, while 36% reported moderate relief.

That said, a few other studies found no differences between the chasteberry and placebo groups, so the official verdict on this one is still out.
