12 Frozen Foods You Should Avoid at All Costs

Like most things in life, frozen foods can be bad or good, too. The worst part is that frozen or not, some “health foods” are actually junk foods in disguise, and although a big portion of the freezer aisle foods would pass the “health test,” we bet that you grab and therefore eat at least one food item that’s not going to take the exam.

Most fruits and veggies can go through the freezing process without being stripped of their vitamins and minerals. So you can keep your favorite veggies and fruits fresh with all their health powers for months in the freezer (that’s what I always do). Now… how about other popular freezer aisle foods?

Yeah, most of them are easy to prep, but is that quick meal really worth your health? *Thought so…

Let’s find out what food items should remain in the freezer aisle and not in your belly.

  1. Absolutely RIGHT….If ya don’t have the time to prepare it fresh, then ya don’t have the time to enjoy it at all….I do freeze leftovers that will be eaten within a week just to have more storage space in the refrigerator for upcoming meal preparation. I will say I do have a side of beef in the freezer as well as some fresh chicken, but this meat is totally raw – no condiments or preservatives used and kept at -4 degrees Centigrade. I’ve never had any issue with thawing and cooking the freezer meat. The cuisine here is very basic and simple. I seldom shop at a popular “grocery store”, but rather the butcher, dairy or bakery – all which are local here.
