Want a punch of anti-inflammatory effects? Eat some bell peppers! They are loaded with many antioxidants and vitamin C that have been shown to reduce inflammation in the body. The most powerful antioxidant found in bell peppers is quercetin which may minimize oxidative damage markers in people with sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease in which most organs are affected.
