Do you love yourself a bit of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream? Most people are aware of the potential to gain weight by constantly popping open that tub, but did you know that like a lot of other creamy treats, they can contain more than a third of your recommended daily intake.

Foods like ice cream can not only clog your arteries they are also high in saturated fat which is double the risk for you and your heart. A healthy adult is advised to consume no more than 300 milligrams of cholesterol a day so it might be time to put the spoon back in the cutlery drawer.
