We know that whole grains are good for reducing the risk of heart disease but did you know white rice can often be the opposite? White rice tends to be nutrient-stripped refined grains and definitely not a good addition to a healthy diet.

Why try brown rice the next time you’re looking for a tasty snack, but always be mindful of the portion size. Too much of anything is bad for anyone.
