We know those of you who have a sweet tooth might find this point particularly infuriating. Who could say no to a tall glass of cold pop or soda? Fruit punches or iced teas also fall in this category, so you’re going to have to say goodbye to them.

Not only do they lack any nutritional value but they’re packed with sugar and calories that you don’t need.

You don’t have to stick to plain water, either. Instead, infuse it with fruits and berries for natural sweetness!

Specialty Coffee Drinks

Also known as designed drinks, which include cappuccinos and frappuccinos, these treats may make our mornings easier to handle but they definitely won’t help in the health department. Like sweetened drinks, they contain huge amounts of extra sugar, saturated fat, and calories.

If you can’t go without a caffeine fix, go for straight java or black coffee. You can add a little bit of artificial sweetener or a little bit of skim milk.
