Please, stop buying (therefore eating) deli meats. They contain lots of sugar, sodium, and chemicals. Numerous studies pointed out the connection between processed meat consumption and a plethora of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer.

Deli meats are also a big contributor to obesity among Americans. Eating high sources of sodium and saturated fats makes you more prone to obesity. So, if you like meat as much as we do, at least make sure it’s not processed.
