Of course, you can have pancakes for breakfast, but try a healthier recipe that contains bananas. “If you enjoy pancakes for breakfast, ditch the conventional, grain-filled kind for one made solely from eggs and mashed banana. Simply combine the two ingredients and cook them on a griddle. You won’t miss the grains,” said Lauren Slayton, MS RD, founder of Foodtrainers. 

For instance, you can try a simple recipe with banana, egg, oat and milk (or almond milk if you are vegan). All you have to do is to mix them in a blender, add some salt and baking powder and pour some pancake batter into a hot pan. This recipe is very healthy, especially for kids and doesn’t take much time to prepare.
