When you read ‘low-fat’ you would assume that the product you’re about to buy is healthy. However, that’s not always the case. Most low-fat products, especially when it comes to packaged baked goods are pretty unhealthy.
Because manufactures try to reproduce the flavor of the full-fat versions, they are ‘forced’ to add some not-so-healthy chemicals. In other words, you should opt for the old-fashioned version. But, from a nutritionist’s point of view, you are better off without all types of packaged baked goods.
