10. Nutrient-Stripped Bread
White bread has literally no nutritional value. Instead of buying white bread, opt for sprouted grain versions. They are healthier and, in my opinion, they really taste better. Plus, you’ll most likely get a decent amount of fiber.
White bread is stripped of germ and bran, the only parts of the grain that do contain healthy nutrients. According to a registered dietitian, Jim White, RD, ACSM, and Jim White Fitness and Nutrition Studios owner, white bread is actually converted into sugar once you indulge it.

He also added that you should stay away from the ones that say ‘made with whole grains.’ So, again, keep an eye on the label.
