6. Granola Bars
The biggest health-food impostor, according to Lisa Moskovitz, the founder of The NY Nutrition Group? GRANOLA! She adds that just one small cup of granola packs almost 600 calories, 24 grams of sugar, and more than 30 grams of fat.
In other words, you could eat two slices of cheesecake for breakfast and get the same nutritional value. Luckily (or not), not all granola bars are created equal. Look for whole-grain granola bars and skip the flavored ones.
