Mannequins at empty tables
If you choose to eat at the Inn at Little Washington, in Washington, Virginia, then do not be scared if you see some mannequins at the table next to you, because this is the measure adopted by this restaurant to keep empty tables busy and keep the social distance.Â
Patrick O’Connell, the chef at the restaurant, collaborated with a local theater for 1940s-themed mannequins. According to restaurant employees, waiters and waitresses have to serve both the real and fake guests. Even though it sounds crazy, this is actually a good idea for keeping social distance.
Another restaurant in Germany, namely the Hotel Haase in Hannover, added life-size dolls to empty tables because they did not want the restaurant to look empty.

I love this idea! This would be so awesome for guy’s and gals who want a really nice place to go and time to talk about their day. This would be so nice at the beach, the lake in the fall, outside the ski resort in winter. I think it’s a great way to socialize and stay a healthy distance from someone you don’t know. Great idea!!!
