2. Most commercial salad dressings
Vegetables and legumes are super-healthy on their own, but they aren’t delicious, and that’s a big problem for many of us. Therefore, we add salad dressings to our fresh salads to turn them into tasty meals, which is perfectly fine if you do your own salad dressing at home. But do you?
It’s a lot easier to grab a salad dressing when you’re shopping than actually making it by yourself, using healthy ingredients. Lots of sugar, trans fats, vegetable oils, and some chemicals that are unpronounceable are packed in salad dressings.
Even if vegetables are incredibly healthy for you, consuming them with salad dressing high in unworthy ingredients vanishes any health benefits you usually get from a fresh salad.
