Fatty Fish

Mackerel, herring, salmon, sardines, and trout are all incredible sources of omega-3 fatty acids. This type of fatty acids is known for boosting heart health, so if you want to keep your heart in tip-top shape, you should definitely consume fatty fish sources regularly.

The American Heart Association notes that you should eat two servings of fatty fish such as salmon per week. Salmon is not only good for heart health but the brain, too. Studies suggest that regular fatty fish consumption could reduce the chances of developing Alzheimer’s and dementia.

So, adding fatty fish into your diet is definitely worth it!

P.S.: Opt for wild-caught instead of farmed raised fish.
