Berries
Berries are one of the healthiest fruits on the planet and for good reasons. They are loaded with antioxidants that keep free radicals under control; as a result, consuming them leads to reduced inflammation in the body. The antioxidants found in berries are called anthocyanins, known for decreasing your risk of diseases.
Dr. Deveraux says that berries contain polyphenols, too. The American Cancer Society even said that berries could help protect the lungs against cancer. Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, you name it… All of them are beneficial for your lungs, and not just for your lungs but overall health, so consume them as often as you can.
P.S.: Frozen berries are as good as fresh ones!
