Fruit
Health experts tell us to eat at least five fruit and vegetable items every day. That’s excellent advice, but they forget to specify that you should stay away from eating fruit at nighttime. It’s because the natural sugars in them can increase mucus and snoring in the same way processed sugars do.
Natural sugars will cause the same kind of inflammation that the processed ones do. Both processed and raw sugar will spike your energy levels. So, if you eat them right before going to sleep, you not only won’t get a good night’s sleep but you’ll also most likely be agitated.
