Lavender

Lavenders smell great, and add sweet, floral, and citrusy flavors to your dish. It’s commonly used as a garnish but works well when the buds are sprinkled over sweet desserts or when sprigs of Lavender are infused into cocktails.

Besides their soothing scent, lavender flowers make delicious additions to baked goods, ice cream, puddings, and teas. It’s often paired with lemon or blueberry in sweets, like scones and ice cream.

And is even a key ingredient in herbes de Provence, making for a fantastic seasoning on vegetables and meats.

Chamomile

Is this an edible flower? We know it makes for an amazing tea, but can you ACTUALLY eat it? Chamomile has daisy-like flowers, and their bright yellow centers have a mild, apple-like flavor.

They’re well-known for their taste and ability to calm nerves when steeped as tea. But you can also use them in flower-infused cocktails just as well.

The flowers and leaves are safe to eat, as long as they haven’t been sprayed with pesticides. So you should probably avoid eating the Chamomile in your flower bouquet!

… For an AH-MAZING tea, try infusing both lavender AND chamomile to get a delicious taste! Amazon has the perfect option!
