Chrysanthemum
Who wouldn’t love a nice cup of Chrysanthemum tea? This edible flower is tangy, slightly bitter, and has an herby flavor.
The petals are usually removed from the flower bulb, and when it’s not used as a tea, this flower is used in stir-fry dishes or as a salad seasoning.
Nasturtium
Spicy nasturtium is a relatively common addition to salads at fancy restaurants and is a beautiful garden flower and garnish. This edible flower can be chopped for adding to omelets or any other dishes where some spice is needed.
The leaves taste just as great and can be used with the flowers. Some people pickle the seeds to transform them into something similar to a caper.
