Green tea
Green tea is considered one of the healthiest teas in the world because it contains antioxidants that are good for your brain functions, heart and digestive system. In addition, people who are caffeine intolerant should not consume green tea. “Green tea helps decrease inflammation and touts plenty of antioxidants,” says Reimers.
“Another benefit of tea is the amount of antioxidants it contains,” said Dr. Edo Paz, M.D., a cardiologist at online health consultancy K Health. “While coffee also has its fair share, tea typically has a higher concentration.”
“Caffeine is an effective stimulant to help improve physical performance and mental alertness,” explained Ramzi Yacoub, the chief pharmacy officer at SingleCare, a prescription service. “In some studies, caffeine has also been shown to reduce type two diabetes.”
