Cruciferous Vegetables
Cruciferous vegetables are one of the top foods that can cause bloating. Instead of breaking down and getting digested, these vegetables ferment in the stomach. As a result, they can make you gassy. If you are familiar with beer or kombucha, you know that when a food product starts to ferment, it causes the production of gas bubbles.
The only difference here is that these gas bubbles end up in your stomach. These foods include cauliflower, beans, brussels sprouts, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, kale, and collard greens. Don’t forget that these foods are actually very good for you. Just try to avoid them when you feel you need to be gas-free.
