Copycat Recipe: KFC Coleslaw
Ingredients:
- 8 cups diced cabbage (use a food processor shredding disc)
- 1 carrot (also use the food processor)
- 2 tbsp grated onions
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup buttermilk (you can also use buttermilk powder)
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
- Add your cabbage, carrot, and the onion to a larger sized bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk the rest of your ingredients together until they’re combined and smooth.
- Toss them together thoroughly and put them in the refrigerator for 4-8 hours. The longer, the better.
