Battling the flu is the WORST! But we’re here to help!

When you or a loved one has the flu, the last thing you probably feel like doing is eating. Dining less with the flu is undoubtedly okay because you likely have a reduced appetite.

Still, you’ll need to eat the right kind of foods to provide energy and nutrients while you’re recovering.

And while boosting your immune system won’t 100 percent safeguard you from those nasty germs and viruses, increasing your intake of vitamins and minerals can help decrease the amount of time you’re on the sidelines.

In other words, you might still get sick even if you eat all of these foods, but at least you’ll be in bed for only 2 or 3 days rather than 2 weeks!

Keep reading to learn a few details about what you should eat and drink when you have a seasonal cold or flu.

I need a good cup of hot broth with my onions , peppers ,garlic and slice of turkey breast on grain bread. Just the meat and bread cooked , stay away from me because this makes my days. Up and away two days later.

  2. It’s great to have this list and know that I eat/drink 6 of the 7 on the list. I’m only missing elderberry so that can be added.

Thanks so much for posting this!
