Blueberries
Of all berries, I think blueberries stand out the most. It’s no secret that blueberries are super healthy, but what you may not know is the fact that seniors should eat them more often. Due to their abundant amount of antioxidants and nutrients, blueberries boost cardiovascular strength and cognitive skills.
On top of that, blueberries are also able to inhibit inflammation in the body and prevent oxidative stress. The truth is, blueberries are good for almost everything, including vascular health, so if you’re a senior, you should definitely sprinkle some over your Greek yogurt or pamper yourself with a blueberries smoothie from time to time.

Very interesting. Luckily I eat all of these foods but I don’t drink alcohol. But when I do, I usually enjoy a glass of red wine, especially on the holidays. Also, I do need to drink more water. I think I drink plenty but I guess not.
Good list, but can you put it on one page so that I don’t have keep jumping page to page and wasting my precious, limited time?
I was lacking potasium and after taking 3 different medications perscribed that I couldn’t tolerate my doctor suggested I eat a banana a day. It was the perfect solution to my problem and certainly alot cheaper.

At 92, in great physical health and mental acuity I’m a super senior. I do all my own housekeeping, laundry, shopping, cooking, gardening and taking excellent care of my four pets. I have never eaten the flesh of another creature and that tale about wine is a myth. The LEAST amount of alcohol destroys brain cells.
I do however, eat ALL of the afore mentioned foods, sans flesh or alcohol.
I definitely need to have some more assistance
