Our mothers have taught us to drink lemonade when we catch a cold, and they were more than right! Lemons are other citrus fruits like grapefruit, limes, oranges, tangerines, or clementines are good sources of vitamin C, and probably the tastiest immune-booster out there.
It’s essential to remember that our bodies are unable to store or produce vitamin C, so, in order to maintain your immune system in tip-top shape, you should consume citrus fruits every single day.
Important info! There’s virtually no evidence that vitamin C is effective against COVID-19, but, when it comes to strengthening our immune system, it’s the best!
If you prefer supplements, do not take more than 2,000 milligrams per day.
