Seasonings
Curry, cumin, and many other species cause not only bad breath but also foul body odor because they produce sulfurous gases when you digest them. Some DO get assimilated, but others go into the bloodstream and are released through your lungs and pores.
According to Berkeley University in California, the effect can last several hours or sometimes even days. If you have bad breath, a quick solution would be to use a powerful mouthwash or chew on some parsley or mint leaves.
But you will have to wait until your body has finished digesting before the smell disappears entirely. You should avoid specific foods and drinks that can “betray” you in the hours leading up to a meeting or important function.
