Some of these places are not in the Midwest or Illinois, a lot of our Steak and Shakes have closed down here in Illinois or St. Louis area. Ruby Tuesdays was one of our favorites but closed in our area and they built a chicken place there, what a shame, Olive Garden is one of my favorites, never heard of Takeaway, our Long Horn Steak place closed, and IHOP closed most of their places in our area. Some of the others are also very good.

  2. In my area Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Fuddruckers and Chilies are in a less desirable area of town, Red Lobster had gone down badly and couldn’t keep a mgr and finally closed do did one Cracker Barrel while one Cracker Barrel is still open but has gone down in every way possible but still catches interstate traffic. Denny’s is a joke. The steak houses are running over with business and 2 or 3 listed we do not have in this area. Private, or better run restaurants are doing well, primarily seafood or catfish houses. It’s a shame some of the favs listed don’t uproot and move to better area or open the second locations, just speaking from a consumers point of view. Courtesy seems to have gotten lost by wait staff.
