Many Americans think that fruit juices are healthy, but they aren’t. They are loaded with sugar. In fact, fruit juice contains as much sugar as a sugary drink like Coke, sometimes even more. It’s true that fruit juice contains vitamin C and some antioxidants, but this must be put in balance with the enormous amount of liquid sugar.
Alternatives: Despite of their sugar content, blueberry juice and pomegranate juice are healthier options than other fruit juices.
