1. Red meat

It comes as no surprise that red meat is found on our carcinogenic food list. A higher colon cancer risk is often associated with the regular consumption of red meats such as beef, pork, lamb, or goat. In fact, numerous studies have suggested that eating red meat on a regular basis can increase the chances of developing colon cancer by as much as three times.

If you’re a red meat lover, you should definitely reduce your intake. Consuming large amounts of red meat could affect your overall health in many ways, especially when we take in consideration the fact that most of them are high in saturated fats. Saturated fats can actually cause cholesterol to build up in your arteries, eventually leading to major heart issues.

In other words, red meat consumption benefits no one, certainly not the animal. Try to reduce your red meat intake as much as you can.
