Nuts
Munching on nuts for staying healthy? SAY NO MORE! Because no matter how you choose to consume them, nuts are one of the healthier snacks you could possibly eat, especially if you’re a senior. Peanuts, almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts, walnuts, you name it; all of them are super healthy.
They are full of omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and fiber, so including them in your diet can benefit your heart, brain, as well as joints. Most health pros say that you should aim for five one-ounce servings per week. So, to have an idea about how many you should eat, 24 almonds represent approximately a one-ounce serving, while 35 peanuts translate to the same serving size.

Good list, but can you put it on one page so that I don’t have keep jumping page to page and wasting my precious, limited time?
I was lacking potasium and after taking 3 different medications perscribed that I couldn’t tolerate my doctor suggested I eat a banana a day. It was the perfect solution to my problem and certainly alot cheaper.

At 92, in great physical health and mental acuity I’m a super senior. I do all my own housekeeping, laundry, shopping, cooking, gardening and taking excellent care of my four pets. I have never eaten the flesh of another creature and that tale about wine is a myth. The LEAST amount of alcohol destroys brain cells.
I do however, eat ALL of the afore mentioned foods, sans flesh or alcohol.
I definitely need to have some more assistance
