Broccoli

Looking for a healthy side dish to pair with salmon? Well… look no further than broccoli. Although it’s not the tastiest veggie, as some would say, broccoli definitely deserves the superfood title. For starters, this cruciferous veggie is an amazing source of vitamin C. To be more precise, half a cup of cooked broccoli will give you more of this essential vitamin than one-half of an orange.

Second of all, broccoli is packed with powerful antioxidants that fight and prevent various health conditions. In addition, the same antioxidants are responsible for minimizing inflammation and cellular damage in the eyes. Besides, broccoli is a great source of fiber, meaning that your digestive health will benefit from the best.

Important! Nutritionists say that it’s best to consume it raw or steamed.

  1. Thanks for the info, I am a senior, and I consume all the food you mentioned, except red vine, because we don’t drink alcohol.

  2. There was no content available to view. I have no idea what foods you were talking about. I have also unsubscribed to you several times so I wish you would stop sending me these emails. I am not interested.
    Thank you.

  3. Your articles might get read if you put it all on 1 pg. Me and most other dont waste time flipping and waiting for this to load

  4. Very interesting. Luckily I eat all of these foods but I don’t drink alcohol. But when I do, I usually enjoy a glass of red wine, especially on the holidays. Also, I do need to drink more water. I think I drink plenty but I guess not.

  5. Good list, but can you put it on one page so that I don’t have keep jumping page to page and wasting my precious, limited time?

  6. I was lacking potasium and after taking 3 different medications perscribed that I couldn’t tolerate my doctor suggested I eat a banana a day. It was the perfect solution to my problem and certainly alot cheaper.

  7. You play the video over and over with same pictures over and over and say nothing about what it is. If you’re earning money from a l o n g video, shame on you. Then that tells me your product is fAKE!!

At 92, in great physical health and mental acuity I’m a super senior. I do all my own housekeeping, laundry, shopping, cooking, gardening and taking excellent care of my four pets. I have never eaten the flesh of another creature and that tale about wine is a myth. The LEAST amount of alcohol destroys brain cells.
