CARROT PULP: If you’re juicing carrots, don’t toss the leftover pulp that you don’t use! It’s great in a variety of recipes. Carrot pulp can be fantastic to use in carrot cake or even in some carrot cake pancakes. Just dry out the pulp with a paper towel before using it.

TOMATO PASTE: You might only need one or two tablespoons of tomato paste when opening a can, but you can freeze the remaining tomato paste in smaller portions. When these portions are frozen solid, add them to a small container or freezer bag. Label them, and they can sit in the freezer for up to 4 months!
