11. Midnight hunger
Be honest… Do you have a fixed time for each meal? If not, maybe that’s why you find yourself standing in front of the refrigerator in the middle of the night… Most times, midnight hunger is a result of stress, but, as nutritionists suggest, it can also represent an imbalance of the hormones that regulate appetite.
How to control it:Â If you have a strict eating schedule, but you still wake up at night to eat, just tell yourself that your body needs sleep, not food. If it doesn’t work, keep a healthy snack such as almonds on your bedside. If you wake up to munch on something, you should at least choose something healthy.
