Fast food salad
Fast-food salads may seem like a healthy option, but many doctors know the truth behind them.
There’s nothing healthy about them. The vegetables are typically limp and tasteless. Oh, you don’t think so? Well, of course, you wouldn’t, since fast food joints also sprinkle in so much artificial flavoring that you’d think you’re eating the real deal. Ever wonder why they taste so much richer than the stuff you can make at home?
That’s just a sign that you should lay off the stuff for good. Ass the croutons and whatever choice of meat you’ve picked and you’re looking at a nutritional disaster wrapped up in lies!
Fried foods
What do you think happens to your food when you blast it through boiling oils? It contains hydrogenated fast, that’s what! Doctors try to stay away from the stuff at all costs.
These can increase cholesterol and run the risk of coronary heart disease. Anything with a shelf life resembling what of fried foods should be skipped entirely!
Frozen chicken pot pie
Chicken pot pie may seem too difficult and time-consuming to make at home. But, trust us, it’s better to take the time and make it on your own than to opt for the frozen stuff!
Even doctors with their busy schedules would rather spend more time in the kitchen than touch the stuff. They typically contain 22 grams of saturated fat and around 1000 calories.
Those numbers are enough to scare any doctors away!
Fruit juice
We know, this pick is surprising!
But we really do mean it- some doctors don’t drink fruit juice at all. That’s because juices are nowhere near as nutritional as eating the whole fruit. Most importantly of all, you’ll be missing out on all the fibers. Plus, the juice is even digested differently, so you’re not getting as many nutrients as you normally would.
Like we said earlier, stick to plain water and add some fruit slices. Once you’re done with your drink you can snack on them!
So, fruit juice isn’t necessarily bad for you, it’s simply not as good as ‘the real deal’ and doctors know this all too well.
