Foie gras
Foie gras was banned in California until September 15, 2017. This dish is produced by force-feeding geese and ducks through feeding tubes for engrossing their livers with fat. The import and consumption of foie gras is legal throughout the country, but a ban on force-feeding came out in California in 2012.

I’m far more concerned about the foods, and drugs, they continue to allow to be sold in this country that are banned in other countries.
