5. Processed meats
It comes as no surprise that processed meats are found on our list. In general, processed meats are unhealthy because they contain harmful chemicals that fresh meats don’t have. Hot dogs, salami, jerky, sausages, and canned meat should be avoided, especially when you want to improve your eating habits.
It’s completely fine to cheat now and then, but many studies suggest that eating processed meats on a daily basis can increase your risk of developing certain diseases and even cancer. When it comes to healthy eating, it’s best to keep processed meats at bay.
