6. Flavored yogurts
News flash: Not all yogurts are created equal! As a matter of fact, the vast majority of flavored yogurts contain almost 30 grams of sugar per 6-ounce serving. 30 grams of the white stuff translates to 6 and a half teaspoons—and that’s way too much, taking into consideration that the American Heart Association recommends no more than 25 grams daily.
We agree… it tastes incredibly good, but it’s not healthy. That’s why you’re better off without it. Opt for Greek yogurt instead. It’s known for being an excellent source of protein. Plus, it benefits your overall health by promoting a healthy gut, lowering high blood pressure, strengthening your bones, and aiding weight loss.
