8. Manuka Honey
Price: $79.99
Why is this Costco find on our list? Well… Manuka Honey is raw and unpasteurized, and while most stores sell pasteurized honey, it can be hard to seek the healthier version. During the pasteurization process, honey is stripped out of many of its unique benefits, that’s why you should always opt for raw honey.
Aren’t convinced yet? Registered dietitian nutritionist Frances Largeman-Roth, author of Eating in Color: Delicious, Healthy Recipes for You and Your Family, says this Costco option has the three key markers that signify manuka honey: leptosperin, DHA, and methylglyoxal. She also adds that she takes a spoonful of manuka daily, adding an extra dose when she’s sick or when she deals with allergies.
