While Subway may be known as one of the most popular sandwich chains in the country, many other chains can arguably compete and would even be considered better. We can’t deny the pure comfort of a great sandwich. It can be served hot/cold, on the go, paired with soup or chips, and customized to suit your taste buds.
And while an Earl may have technically invented it in England, today, it feels like a staple of American cuisine. In fact, the US does sandwiches so well it feels like there are dozens of masters in every city.
