7. Noodle soup kits
Noodle soup kits are one of the cheapest meal options out there, and, sadly, most of the time, cheap doesn’t go hand in hand with healthy. They bring zero nutritional value, and, even worst, they also pack tertiary-butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ), a food additive that’s actually a petroleum-industry byproduct. Yeah… it doesn’t really sound edible.
High in sodium, saturated fats, and calories, noodle soup kits are a no-no for your health. In fact, instead of noodle soup kits, you can easily call them artery cloggers.
8. Bouillon cubes
Are you still adding bouillon cubes to your favorite soups? If yes, you’re making a huge mistake! Yeah, they enhance the flavor of your soups, but they don’t enhance your overall health! Despite their name, bouillon cubes contain lots of sugar, salt, hydrolyzed soy protein, fat, and monosodium glutamate (MSG).
A soup base should contain beef, veggies, and chicken, that’s all. It’s best to skip the part with the bouillon cube.
