Like almost all things in life, inflammation can be bad or good. The good one is actually your body’s natural response to an injury or infection. In other words, it lets us know when something’s wrong with us. On the other side, the bad one, a.k.a. chronic inflammation, can mess up our lives entirely.
It can lead to a broad spectrum of health issues, including obesity, diabetes, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, dementia, kidney disease, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, and even cancer. If you’re not paying attention to the signs and symptoms, your body sends you, your risk of developing a chronic inflammation-related disease is greater.
As soon as you’re aware of your medical condition, make some changes to your diet. Some foods have unique properties of keeping chronic inflammation at bay. Therefore, it would be a wonderful idea to include more of them in your diet.
