Green Tea comes from Camellia sinensis leaves that are immediately steamed or pan-fired rather than being exposed to air so that no oxidation occurs.
This special handling makes for a more delicate brew that is typically lower in caffeine than black and Oolong teas.
Although amounts vary, green teas are highest in polyphenols known as EGCG, which is why so many make it part of their healthy lifestyle.
“For a while now, I’ve wanted to add green tea to my diet. But I disliked every one I tried. This tea has a robust, spicy flavor that I really enjoy.” – Kourtney L.
“This tea was recommended to me by a friend, and it has become my all time favorite tea! I seriously drink it about twice a day.” – Farah A.
“I absolutely love this tea! My doctor wanted me to cut out fake sweeteners and sweet drinks, which was about the hardest thing anyone could ask me to do. I’ve never liked unsweetened tea or coffee and certainly not green tea, but my office keeps this tea stocked in the kitchen, so I begrudgingly gave it a go. I was able to work it into my morning routine in lieu of sweetened coffee. Now I keep it stocked at home, too!” – Mary N.
“A great tea at a great price. Excellent to drink in the morning or during the day. Making ice tea out of it is very refreshing.” – Robert P.
