If we are searching for a typical ‘sick food’ diet, leafy green vegetables are not excluded. Spinach, kale, and romaine lettuce are super veggies that pack an impressive number of minerals, vitamins, and fiber.

From folate and magnesium to vitamin A, C, and K, leafy green vegetables are also full of beneficial plant compounds. These compounds act as powerful antioxidants in order to fight inflammation in the body and protect cells from damage.
